*Webinar* Ask Me Anything: UX Design & Customer Experience
Event Information
Book your free ticket to this event via Eventbrite here.
In partnership with Tech Ladies, UX office hours with Karen T. Lin are open, including a FREE GIVEAWAY! Get ready to bring your questions, hopes & fears about the field of UX – and leave with honest, candid answers you’ll be hard-pressed to find anywhere else. (And maybe a UX joke or two to take home to your unsuspecting loved ones.) No question is too big or too small, though due to limited time, we will make sure to capture as many as possible to answer offline. The juiciest questions will be entered into a FREE GIVEAWAY raffle for a copy of “Customers Know You Suck” by Debbie Levitt of Delta CX, in which yours truly is a featured expert.
Why this facilitator?
To members of the TechLadies founding circle, Karen T. Lin (she/they/we) is an aspiring Buddhist nun comedian as well as a UX practitioner who built her first HTML webpage in 1996. She is a former Chief Experience Officer and Head of Product & UX at a seed-stage SaaS startup (acquired under NDA in 2020) and is currently a Lead Designer & Strategist at a Fortune 100 bank. Karen has a storied career in UX working for Fortune 500s, nonprofits & startups across nearly every possible vertical as well as a privileged academic background that she doesn’t want to scare anyone with – but wants you to know that this just means she has a uniquely expansive, non-judgmental and inclusionary view of UX as a field of practice as well as a field of study. She is always determined to advocate for human-centered and humanity-centered design wherever she goes and most recently coined the term #StopUXErasure to call our attention to remembering the original ethos & ethics of UX.
