“Working With A Chronic Illness – Tips & Tricks From The Frontline”

Being in the world of work with a chronic illness can be tough. There are millions of talented people with long-term conditions in the UK alone, many of whom want and are able to work, and yet this group of disabled people are often excluded from the broader conversation about inclusive employment.

During this session, disabled writer and communication consultant Pippa Stacey will share her lived experiences of finding accessible work while managing a chronic illness, as well as important learnings from the frontline with the charity Astriid, who strive to make the world of work more inclusive for people with long-term conditions.

By the end of this session, attendees will have gained unique knowledge and insights into how to navigate this complex environment, as well as five innovative tips and tricks to help them look after their mental and physical wellbeing while accessing the calibre of opportunities they deserve. We hope to see you there!
